Bond amounts are set by the NY Liquor Authority

New York Liquor Bonds are required by the New York State Liquor Authority. The required bond amount is usually $1,000 but some licensees are required to carry bonds larger than that amount. The New York Liquor Authority requires the L-9 surety bond form which they call a Penal Bond. (See Sample Bond Form)
